DaVinci Code: fun, fast-paced fiction or threat to Christianity?

Or threat to intelligence? I have not read the book nor will I. I shelled out $9 to see the crap movie and I don't think I'll be giving any more of my money to Mr. Brown. If this is a threat to Christianity I'm Walker, Texas Ranger. Look, I'm not a religious guy in any way, shape, or form, but I do know that this is not a threat to Christianity. It's not fun, fast-paced fiction either. It's crap. Tom Hanks' hair proves that point for me. I would go more in depth on why I hate it so much, but I already did that on a past post. Just search the archives to find it. I don't want to repeat myself.
I will say another word on the whole "threat to Christianity" thing though. If you're a Christian and this book/movie threatens you, you're retarded. How can a fictional book/movie threaten your beliefs? How can you be taught one thing your entire life and then on a whim think "hey, this Brown guy may be on to something." Yeah he's on to something, a pile of money. The man is filthy rich because of this book and I'm sure he'll claim to believe what he wrote, but he believes in Benjamin Franklin a little more.
It's okay to watch/read this thing and have some questions, but to be threatened by this? Please. You'd be better off being threatened by marshmallows or teddy bears.
I'm going to stop now before I start going in circles, like the movie.
